Guitar Hero, Round 1

I’ve been torn between posting this pic, shoot experience, and comments for this image. My original thought about it, was that I didn’t get what I set out to get that day, after a sequence of unfortunate events hindering the outcome. I was not going to post the images for this shoot, because I’d like to show the best of the work I’m doing. But in the other hand, I findEmilio Cueto that one of the best ways to learn(at least for me) is to learn from my mistakes, and since sharing and learning is one of my objectives for this blog, I decided to go ahead and post. Feel free to critique.

Supervising at Zoic Studios

Recently I had the opportunity to photograph one of the head supervisors at Zoic Studios; a prominent Visual effects and 3D graphics house in the Los Angeles area that specializes in high end commercials, features and video game cinematics, amongst other things.

Chilly Burrito

So even though I mostly wanted to concentrate on people photography, the truth is that I just enjoy shooting.
I recently made the trip from L.A to Mammoth for some snowboarding and along the way I spotted this guy, so I pulled over for a quick photo shoot and it turns out he was as interested in me as I was in him, which made for a great shoot out in a frosty sunrise.
